I posted this past week how the movement of the sunrise Southward is a sign that our season is changing from Summer to Fall.
We also see signs in shorter days, the beginnings of color change in the Cottonwood leaves to a golden yellow and Sugar and Morgunn's hair beginning to grow out toward their Winter coat.
All are clear signs the season is changing.
However, in New Mexico there is another sign of this season change - yellows and blue/purples.
The wild sunflowers are now blooming profusely everywhere and there are numerous wild flowers that have a blue/purple hue.
Even the most non-observant person can't miss these beautiful, colorful signs that things are a-changing.
