Good to Connect

Today has been a day of contrasts. It's a beautiful sunny day, comfortable, even if a little breezy.

My stomach has been a little unsettled, but other than that I'm feeling better. The pain from the surgery has been reduced down to just the surgery site itself - little or no swelling which was causing some of the initial pain.

Betty and I both wanted to connect with Sugar and Morgunn. So, after lunch we went out and haltered the horses and spent about 15 - 20 minutes grooming them. After grooming, I walked Morgunn around the back lot for a couple of minutes.

It wore me out, but it was a good day. It felt good to reconnect with Morgunn and I know Betty felt the same about Sugar.

You should just stick to peeling the carrots--that won't get you near as exhausted. After all, you're quite used to it.

That Michelle, she cracks me up. Here I sit trying to do my assignment for the business class I am taking, and she gets me sidetracked thinking of carrots. LOL! Glad you got to go out today and enjoy the weather and Morgunn. Keep on keeping on.

I'm very glad you're feeling well enough to go out and visit the horses but, take it easy, until you are really well.

Awwwww...horses do the mind good! Mentally I know they can help us heal....but it's very easy to become physically exhausted around them doing too much....so do like Michelle said and stick to peeling carrots while sitting out there with the horses getting nuzzled. :)
