Fabulous Friday

Betty and I have had a great Friday. First, the weather has been gorgeous -- blue skies and pleasant, cool breezes -- a good day for a ride down to the North end of the Bosque.

Betty warming Sugar up in our back lot by going around behind our round pen.

The ditch paths heading to the North end of the Bosque.

The Purple Asters were in bloom everywhere.

At the North end of the Bosque we stopped at a grass patch next to the Rio Grande so the horses could have a rest and a nibble of grass.

Riding back towards home.

Riding through a bunch of Purple Asters.

After we get home and get the horses untacked, Sugar's first priority is a drink...

... and Morgunn's first priority is a roll in the gravel. Feels good!

Our first priority, after a shower, was to head to our favorite Corrales restaurant, The Indigo Crow, for a lunch on their patio under a huge Cottonwood tree.

Followed by a quick stop at The Coppertree Gallery.

All in all, a great day.

This does look like a great day!
I love the pictures out on your ride.
Does the Coppertree Gallery have anything cool? ....and affordable? ;)

So what did Betty find at the CopperTree?

The Coppertree Gallery has really neat stuff -- pottery, metalwork, paintings, jewelry, etc. However, it's not cheap.

And, Lisa, we just looked.

I also love the photos--and hearing about your fun adventures! I need to get more hip and start checking out Corrales. Looks like there's lots to enjoy there.
