Leah Marie Cooksey was born Friday, August 20, 2010 at 4:47 PM Mountain Daylight Time (a very respectable hour). She weighed in at 5 lbs and 7 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches in length. Mother and daughter are doing very well.

My daughter Jenna was 11 lbs 12oz, more than double that little precious angels birth size! lol! Even my twinlings were over 7 lbs each. I can't imagine holding a baby so tiny. She's like a sweet little dolly.

Congratulations to all of you on that precious little girl. She is very beautiful! I'm so glad you could be with them.
What a great post. Congratulations to you all! Marie looks really good. Hope things went well for her. Juliet was precious meeting her sister. I like how she was sort of reserved just taking in the whole experience.
Like I told my sister with her new baby, enjoy all those grunts and squeaks for me. I LOVE newborns!
Oh and that baby--BEAUTIFUL! What a pretty little newborn. :)
