Meet Chris P. Bacon (get it?). Chris was born without the use of his hind limbs and was set to be put down before vet Len Lucero stepped in and built him a specially-designed wheelchair.
The lovable one-year-old now spends most of his time bringing smiles to faces at a hospital for disabled children in Brighton, Massachusetts, but also gets out quite often making friends wherever he goes.
Take a look back at his progress throughout the last year, from a 1/2 pound baby to a 65 pound grape eating machine.

He does not seem to even know that anything is missing..it is all he has ever known. I wonder if those born with limitations fare better than those who are put in that position as a result of some accident or illness??
