This morning Betty and I got out and went to our local International House of Pancakes for breakfast. I had a craving for pancakes and I needed to see how I would do riding in the car in a sitting up position. I also needed to see how I would do sitting in a straight back chair.
All in all I did OK and the pancakes (Harvest Nut) were good.
We ran a few errands while we were out. By the time I got home my surgery incision was getting a little sore and I was tired. I need to build up my energy and I'm trying to do that by doing whatever I can around the house and with the horses to help Betty. It will take some time, but I'll get there.
The pancakes were good.

Yummy! Pancakes! When I was a kid my parents would take me to IHOP and I'd always order Chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup. I think if I ate them today I'd be sick! So sweet! lol!
Take it easy Dan.

You will get there Dan. Isn't it kinda crazy how one can walk into the hospital for a procedure perfectly fine, really and then they cut you open, fix you, then send you home and it takes weeks and weeks to get back to normal. So strange. I guess it has something to do with the cutting you open part. Maybe. Blessings and peace to you both. -Tj
Pancakes--yum yum! Glad you're getting out and about. We miss you. :)
And Lisa, as long as you put whipped cream on those pancakes, I'm sure you'll be fine. ;)
I'm sure as sore as you are it still felt great to get out of the house. As long as Max is still in pain take your time healing we don't need you out there yet. Just don't take too long. We need you and Max up and feeling better. The kids need you both.
