Betty and I are on our way to Fort Collins to visit with our kids and granddaughters. It's supposed to snow while we're there so it should be interesting. Hopefully we won't have any problems getting home next week.
I'll try to do some posts while we're gone.

This past Sunday, Betty and I were thinking of working with Sugar and Morgunn. It turned out to be fairly windy so we decided to take a walk instead. Even though there have been more houses built around us since we moved in almost nine years ago, it doesn't take too long for us to walk to an area that's still pretty open.
Needless to say we had a good time. We came home and Betty fixed some tamales in red sauce, roasted asparagus and black beans - yum!
When I was growing up, we always ate dinner together as a family. Most of the time these were good times, but, as with any family, we sometimes had our squabbles.

After several weeks of cold, windy weather, today was still windy but a little warmer. So, we were able to get out into the back and work with the horses. We didn't do much since they have been off for several weeks, but it was a good day to begin stretching muscles again.
Hopefully, we will be able to ride again Sunday.
It's time when I get interested in college basketball - the playoffs, otherwise known as March Madness. Check out this video of a two-year old who will probably be playing in a March Madness in about 16 to 18 years from now.
