We drove to Fort Collins yesterday to visit with our kids and granddaughter. On the way, we stopped to see how Betty’s first horse, Gletta, is doing in her new home after being there for almost a year.
We’ll let the pictures tell her tale. Gletta is the light brown Icelandic Horse.
Notice the foal with his head under the tail.
Gletta looked great and she looked happy and content with her new herd. That’s all we could ask for.
After getting to Fort Collins, we took a walk after supper. That’s Juliet in the lead.

Today, Friday, we drive up to Steamboat Springs for the weekend. It should be a lot of fun.

Nope. Gletta is the 'auntie' horse to the foals.

Juliet is getting so big. She is not a baby anymore and barely a toddler. Gletta looks happy; green grass and buddies to share it with. I truly wish we could decide on who needs to go from our herd and place them somewhere nice like you guys did for Gletta.
I think everybody won on the deal- Gletta, Betty, Sugar, and you. She looks great in her new herd.

Oh yeh! And what Michelle said. You guys are awesome to take the time to travel to Colorado to visit with your kids and grand daughter.
My parents always expect us to travel to them in NC instead of them coming here. Of course whe they do visit, like at Christmas, my stepmom spends the entire time cleaning my house and telling me how filthy it is. She also hates animals and can't understand why we have any.
I suppose it's just as well they don't visit, but I wish my kidlets had some grandparents that wanted to spend time with them and love on them. My Dad and stepmom are all they have living anymore. :-(
Juliet is very blessed to have you two.
